Cross-Country Drive

This was the epic trip to deliver our precious Amanda to the quirky state of California. Stuffed into a Penske truck, and towing her "grandma-mobile" of a Bonneville on a trailer, she and I set out on a 5-day tour of a lower slice of the US. Making our way through TN, TX, NM, AZ, and points inbetween, we truly had non-stop fun.
You'll notice "Wedge," our version of the travelling gnome in Amelie (a beautiful movie). A couple pics show us in Amanda's new apartment--notice the chili pepper plants in her background? This definitely isn't Kansas, er, Virginia, anymore. . .Good luck at Grad School!!!
