Everybody Should Browse Happy
Tuesday August 31st 2004
Those good eggs over at Web Standards have initiated another campaign to clean up the unsafe browsing streets of the internet. Browse Happy is dedicated to promoting safer and better browser alternatives to Internet Explorer. Spread the word!
The site gives testimonials of those who have switched *from* the hell that is IE, article snippets from reliable sources explaining the security holes and other woes of Microsoft's damaging browser, and offers 4 alternatives for your browsing pleasure: Opera, Mozilla, Firefox, and Safari. The site is simple, to-the-point, and hopefully with the help of the responsible internet public it will reach a wide audience and make a difference.
Personally, I've been using Safari since I jumped onto OSX full time. However I do have copies of Opera, Mozilla, and Firefox on my machine for cross-browser testing. I love 'em all. And you will too. . .
