Current Portfolio:

It's Time For Class, Children

Monday January 17th 2005

So for months now I've been cooking up ideas about a new website, partly because I'm putting one together for Marjan, and partly because there are flaws in my current site that have revealed themselves to me in the past year since the version went live. There are certainly characteristics that I love about it, and feel it was a refreshing approach to the challenge of presenting everything "me" onto one web site, but I nonetheless see room for improvement.

Today, like any other day, I was spending some time daydreaming about said redesign, and decided to do a little online reading. After stumbling around for a little bit I came across this blog site, A discussion blog for the students taking Central Washington University's Introduction to Online Design (Com 306). Between it and the path that got me there, I think I have many more fresh ideas to consider. What a fantastic idea as a professor. And what a fantastic resource for a designer looking for some good old usability research.
